About A Swan Nest Inn

Built in 1918, this bed and breakfast is located on the second floor of a historic Seward building. A full breakfast is cooked to order every morning between 7 and 9 am.

Rooms at A Swan Nest Inn have a queen bed on the main floor of the room and two twin beds in the bunk bed style loft, accessible by a ladder. Each room has a private bathroom and shower. The rooms have hand-crafted log furniture and are decorated with locally made original art. We have a total of five rooms at this property, so are happy to take big groups!

Two common areas are accessible to guests at A Swan Nest Inn. One room has a selection of games and a large TV with Netflix and a DVD player. The other is a dining area with cozy wood stove and wonderful view of the bay.

A Swan Nest Inn is a five minute walk from Downtown Seward, the Alaska Sealife Center and the Seward Waterfront Park. The Seward Boat Harbor is one mile away.

Open Kitchen

While you get breakfast cooked for you every morning, all other snacks you are on your own. Luckily the inn has an open kitchen so you can have a home cooked meal. The kitchen is open for your use until 9 pm daily. There is a coffee and tea nook available for self serve anytime.

Enjoy a full breakfast cooked to order every morning between 7 and 9 am. We’ve got sourdough blueberry waffles, eggs, sausage, ham, hash browns, fresh baked bread, and fruit! We have a continental breakfast set up with fruit and fresh baked goods for a lighter fare or for those in a hurry.

Just because you are on the Last Frontier, doesn’t mean you have to be completely un-plugged. The inn features free wifi so you can reconnect!

TV & Lounge

The Inn has two lounges, one with a selection of games and a large TV with Netflix streaming a DVD player. The other has a cozy wood stove, plants, and wonderful view of the bay.

Pet Policy

Well behaved service animals welcome. Pets need to be on a leash and cannot be left alone in the room. There is a $30 cleaning surcharge.

Kid Friendly

With bunk bed style lofts in the rooms, A Swan’s Nest Inn is the most kid friendly Inn of all our locations.
